Momentra Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand what information we gather, how we use it, what we do to protect it, and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Services (as defined in the Terms and Conditions). 

For purposes of this Agreement, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. “You” refers to you, as a user of the website, application and/or Services.

This Privacy Policy is an electronic record in the form of an electronic contract formed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder including but not limited to Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011 and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic documents / records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This Privacy Policy does not require any physical, electronic or digital signature and is a legally binding document between You and Momentra.

Each time you visit our website, and any time you voluntarily provide us with information, you agree that you are consenting to our collection, use and disclosure of the information that you provide, and you are consenting to receive emails or otherwise be contacted, as described in this Privacy Policy. Whether or not you register or engage on the platform, this Privacy Policy applies to all users of the website. You also have an option to withdraw your consent given earlier to us.   • Collection of Information We may collect both “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information” about you.

    • “Personal Information” includes information that can be used to personally identify you, such as your name, address, age, contact number, bank account number (banking data such as UPI and IMPS), email address, Government ID like Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, and PAN Card.

We may track information provided to us by your browser or use of the website, such as the referring website from which you came to our website, the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected to the website, your IP Address, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you. We use this information for various purposes, inter alia, the operation of the website, to improve our services, to improve your experience on our website, to understand varied requirements for different users etc.
      • Website Forms There may be online forms present on the Momentra website through which you may submit personally identifiable information to express interest in the Services or make inquiries related to the Services. These forms may appear in various formats and may request your information prior to submission. When you contact us using a form on our website, we collect information that identifies you—such as your name, age, phone number, email address, postal address, and other personally identifiable details. This information is used solely to understand your requirements and to recommend suitable Services. We do not use this information for marketing purposes, nor do we share it with any third parties.
      • Telephonic and Email Communications Based upon the Personal Information that you provide us, we may contact you via a telephone call to understand your requirements in detail and provide further information about our Services. By providing your mobile phone number, landline telephone number you are expressly consenting to us contacting you in spite of any registrations you may have with your telecom providers “Do Not Disturb” registry. We may also communicate with you via email correspondence. We may also use your Personal Information to send you updates and other promotional communications. If you no longer wish to receive email correspondence or updates from us, you may opt-out of receiving them you may contact us and let us know.
      • Social Media We may collect information when you interact with our social media accounts and pages such as on LinkedIn, Twitter, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, e-mail, X etc.
    • Data Usage
      • We will use the data provided by you to offer and improve the Services, communicate with you regarding the Services, troubleshoot issues on the website, diagnose technical problems, and address legitimate business needs, including those related to payments, service modifications, fraud prevention, and the protection of both you and Momentra.
      • We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your Personal Information with third parties without your explicit consent. However, we may share your Personal Information with vendors and other third-party service providers who perform services on behalf of Momentra. These vendors are permitted to access, use, and disclose your information only as necessary to carry out the services they perform for us. Such services may include, but are not limited to, processing payments through payment aggregators/gateways, or delivering materials and equipment required for fulfillment of the Services through logistics partners.
      • Please note that payment aggregators and gateways generally have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to share with them to facilitate transactions. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies to understand how your Personal Information will be handled by these providers.
      • We may also be legally required to disclose your Personal Information upon receipt of a valid and lawful request from a competent statutory or investigatory authority. Such disclosures will be made in accordance with applicable laws, and Momentra will not be obligated to inform you of such disclosure. Additionally, disclosure of your Personal Information may occur if it is determined that you have violated our Terms & Conditions or committed any unlawful activity while using our website or Services.
      • We use Non-Personal Information to enhance the quality and performance of our Services. We may also aggregate and anonymize Non-Personal Information to analyze trends and usage patterns on the website. This Privacy Policy does not restrict our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information in any way, and Momentra reserves the right to use and share such Non-Personal Information with partners, advertisers, and other third parties at its sole discretion.
    • Protection of Information We take reasonable precautions to safeguard your Personal Information and to ensure that it is not accessed, disclosed, altered, sold, or destroyed in an unlawful or unauthorized manner. However, while we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. By using our website and Services, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these risks.

      • The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. All information collected on our website is securely stored within a controlled database protected with adequate cryptographic safeguards. The database is hosted on servers secured behind a firewall, with access strictly limited and password-protected.

      • Several deceptive emails, websites, blogs, and other communications falsely claiming to be from or associated with Momentra may be circulated on the internet (“Deceptive Communication”). Such communications may misuse our logo, branding, content, photos, or links to create a false impression of legitimacy. Some of these communications may ask you to provide your mobile number, OTP, or other personal information; claim that you have won a prize or gift; provide instructions for unauthorized or illegal activity; or solicit sensitive personal data or payments.
      • These Deceptive Communications are in no way affiliated with Momentra, and we do not endorse or authorize such content. For your own safety, we strongly advise you not to respond to or engage with any such communications. You agree that Momentra shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, damage, or harm arising from your reliance on or actions taken in response to these fraudulent communications.
      • Except as may be required for verification purposes under our Terms and Conditions, neither Momentra nor any of its authorized representatives will ever contact you to disclose your Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI).
    • User Account and Data Deletion Users are entitled to request the deletion of their Momentra accounts and associated personal information by sending a written request to support@momentra.in. We will make every effort to respond promptly, and in any case, within one (1) month of the later of the following:
      • Receipt of your written request; or
      • of any additional information we may require in order to fulfill your request.

      As an alternative to permanent deletion, Users may also contact support@momentra.in to request either of the following options:
      • Account Suspension – Your account will be temporarily disabled from participating in any earning activities, but you will still retain access to other parts of the platform.
      • Account Deactivation – Your account will be temporarily inaccessible, including login, but you may request reactivation at any time, and all associated data will be retained.

        • If you opt for permanent account deletion, you will lose access to the Momentra platform and its services, including all user data and personal information associated with your account. You may request restoration of your account within six (6) months from the date of deletion notification by contacting support@momentra.in.

        When data deletion is requested, we follow a secure process to ensure that your data is safely and completely removed from our systems or retained only in anonymized form. Our services are designed to safeguard against both accidental and malicious deletion.
    • Data Retention Your Personal Information may be retained and used strictly for the purpose for which it was originally collected. Momentra will not retain your Personal Information beyond the period necessary unless:
      • The specific purpose for which the information was collected is still applicable; or
      • We are required to retain such information under applicable laws, regulations, or contractual obligations.
        • Once these conditions no longer apply, your Personal Information will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data protection practices.
    • Change to our privacy policyWe reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions at any time. You will be informed of any changes to our Privacy Policy when such changes are effected.
